The East Neuk of Fife is abound with picturesque fishing villages such as Anstruther and Crail, all of which have at least one quaint little pub where the delights of Scottish sea food and Scottish beer are waiting to be sampled.

You also have the option of many great days out and can choose from family days out at the Dear Centre, Sea Life Centre or Secret Bunker. Don't miss Culross - it's spectacular or visit the National Trust for Scotland's Balmerino Abbey and all the quaint traditional fishing villages of the East Neuk. There are also many sporting activities you can take part in around Fife including walking, cycling and of course golf.

Only 12 miles to the east lies St Andrews, home of the famous royal and ancient golf club. St Andrews also boasts an extensive sea life centre, miles of golden sands and is a university town worth exploring.

To the north-east, by way of the Tay bridge is the city of Dundee (14 miles). Here you can take advantage of all the shopping, entertainment, recreation and leisure facilities you would expect to find in Scotlands fourth largest city and to the north-west lies Perth - 'The Gateway To The Highlands' (10 miles).
